THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND - THE ROAD GOES ON FOREVER

Secure an exceptional, industry-grade archive piece of Southern Rock history with this rare 1975 US original double-LP promotional pressing of The Road Goes On Forever by The Allman Brothers Band. Released strictly to radio stations by Capricorn Records (2CP 0164) to introduce the band's definitive career-spanning anthology, this premium promo is a magnificent time capsule. It compiles the finest studio tracks and legendary live Fillmore East performances from their foundational five-album run onto incredibly crisp, early-mastered heavy wax. From the agonizing, slow-burning studio blues of "Whipping Post" to the joyous, twin-guitar synergy of "Jessica" and "Ramblin' Man," every side delivers pristine, early-analog punch. Verified by the official "Promotion Not For Sale" center labels and historical cover markings, this beautifully preserved 1975 promo is an elite investment piece designed for the most discerning classic rock archives.
