SWIRLIES - SWIRLIES' MAGIC STROP: TONIGHT...
Sleeve grades VG+. Almost "like new" condition, minor corner dings on the right side of cover, otherwise almost NM condition.
Vinyl grades VG+. Appears to have never been played but there are maybe 2-4 light surface marks visible under bright light/magnification that keep it from being graded NM. Likely only opened for the artists to autograph the cover.
Dive into the dizzying, brilliant chaos of the 90s shoegaze underground with the Swirlies' magnum opus, They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days in the Glittering World of the Salons. A record that defies easy categorization, it’s a swirling cocktail of lo-fi fuzz, shimmering dream-pop melodies, and experimental electronic flourishes. From the driving, distorted beauty of "In Harmony New Found Freedom" to the hypnotic, sprawling "Two Girls Kissing," the album captures a band at their most inventive and fearless. Often hailed as one of the most essential and underrated records of the era, this is a must-have for anyone who loves the textural depth of My Bloody Valentine paired with a playful, indie-rock spirit. Own a piece of Boston’s musical avant-garde—a record that sounds just as revolutionary and kaleidoscopic today as it did in 1996.
