Released in 1984 as their sophomore full-length album, Increase the Pressure stands as a defining peak of the second-wave UK anarcho-punk movement. Splitting the release into a studio side of blistering new material and a live side recorded during a chaotic set at Brixton Academy, Conflict weaponized hyper-fast rhythms, dual vocal assaults, and uncompromising anti-war, animal rights, and anti-state politics. Driven by classics like "Tough Shit Mickey" and "The Cruise", this iconic Mortarhate pressing captures the band at their most volatile, serving as a fierce, essential rallying cry for the 1980s British underground.
