DANIELE LUPPI & GREG GONZALEZ - CHARM OF PLEASURE

2022 First Pressing, made in Germany, of Dream Pop collaboration between Cigarettes After Sex's Greg Gonzalez and Italian Composer Daniele Luppi!

A lush collaboration between Italian composer Daniele Luppi and Cigarettes After Sex frontman Greg Gonzalez, the 2022 EP Charm of Pleasure is a hypnotic blend of dreamy synth-pop, vintage Italian library music, and nocturnal melancholia. Written and recorded during lockdown, the project pairs Luppi’s intricate, analog-heavy production with Gonzalez’s unmistakably soft, whispered vocals on tracks like "Silent Standard" and the title track. Issued via Verve Forecast / Universal (00602445748877), this US release presents a brief yet captivating soundscape that bridges the worlds of cinematic scorework and slow-burn indie pop.
