Released in 1988 on London independent label Workers Playtime, Mother With Child And Bunny serves as the final full-length studio release from Leeds-based DIY punk outfit Dan before key members splintered off to form Sofa Head. Capturing their most polished yet uncompromising performance, the record blends hyper-kinetic UK hardcore rhythms, driving post-punk basslines, and dual male/female vocal trade-offs across standouts like "100 Year Picnic," "Sleep On It," and "Mother". Recorded once again at Lion Studios, this original UK pressing remains a crucial bridge between the late-80s British anarcho-punk circuit and the emerging 90s UK indie-melodic hardcore movement.
