EARLHAM MYSTICS - TRUTH EP

Discover the beat-driven evolution of Luke Abbott under his captivating new moniker with the Earlham Mystics’ debut, Truth EP. A departure from his more abstract, ambient explorations, this 2017 release on the Notown imprint marks a return to a raw, "back-to-basics" techno sound. From the propulsive, hypnotic drive of the title track "Truth" to the club-ready urgency of "Fuck Hype," the EP blends intricate modular textures with a visceral rhythmic energy. It’s a masterclass in modern electronic craftsmanship—sophisticated enough for deep listening, yet powerful enough to command the floor. For fans of Abbott’s previous hits like "Modern Driveway", this record is an essential chapter in the career of one of the UK’s most thoughtful electronic producers.
