IGGY AND THE STOOGES - DEATH TRIP

1988 French import first pressing.

Sleeve grades VG+.  Another awesome sleeve, pretty close to NM with a couple minor corner dings and a handful of tiny vertical creases coming down from the top seam, otherwise in pretty much perfect condition.  Generic white inner sleeve.

Vinyl grades VG+.  Play tested perfect with no issues/deficiencies.  Disc surface has a couple light hairlines -- pretty close to a NM disc.

Unearth the ferocious, unpolished sound of post-Raw Power Iggy & The Stooges with this sought-after 1988 French pressing of Death Trip on Revenge Records (MIG 6). Dedicated to Ron Asheton, this album captures legendary 1973 studio rehearsals in Hollywood, stripping away commercial production to reveal pure garage-rock filth and proto-punk aggression. Featuring James Williamson's razor-sharp guitar work, Scott Thurston’s driving piano, and Iggy’s unhinged vocal delivery, the record tears through raw early takes alongside heavy-hitting covers of Muddy Waters and Bob Dylan. An essential archival release for Stooges completists, garage-rock purists, and vintage French import collectors!
