MEG BAIRD - SEASONS ON EARTH
Second solo studio album by Meg Baird, a founding member of the acid-folk collective Espers. While her first solo album focused largely on covers, Seasons On Earth features her first significant body of original songwriting. The album is a masterclass in "new folk" and "psych-folk" defined by Baird's intricate rolling fingerstyle guitar and her haunting, old-worldly vocal delivery, compared often with legends like Sandy Denny and Joni Mitchell.
