BOB DYLAN - SWEETHEART LIKE YOU

1983 US PROMO 7" DISC

Disc grades VG+ on play testing.  Original picture sleeve grades G+ due to seam burst on left side.

Rare 1983 US Columbia Records white-label promo 7" 45 RPM single for Bob Dylan’s acclaimed Infidels ballad "Sweetheart Like You"! Issued on clean white demonstration labels with bold red text reading "Demonstration - Not For Sale," this DJ-only release was distributed exclusively to radio stations in late 1983. Designed specifically for broadcast cueing, this single features the rare double-sided DJ layout holding the Mono edit on Side A for AM radio and the Stereo album version on Side B for FM programming. Backed by guitar legends Mark Knopfler and Mick Taylor alongside the iconic reggae rhythm section Sly & Robbie, this pristine 1980s Columbia promo is an essential trophy piece for Bob Dylan completionists, Dire Straits/Rolling Stones side-project collectors, and radio single archivists!
