SYD BARRETT (Silkscreen on Brushed Aluminum) by MICK ROCK, 1971, Limited Edition.

The last professional photography session ever done by Syd Barrett.

A hauntingly intimate relic of rock history, this Mick Rock limited edition print captures Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett in his final photographic hour (this was the last professional session Syd Barrett ever did). Part of an ultra-rare run of only 65 pieces, this silkscreen on brushed aluminium transforms a 1971 portrait into a striking piece of industrial art. Hand-signed by the 'Man Who Shot the 70s' himself, the print preserves Barrett’s fragile, poetic beauty with a raw, cinematic film-strip aesthetic. For the serious Pink Floyd archivist, this isn't just a photograph; it’s a high-value, tactile document of the 'Psychedelic Renegade' in his most vulnerable state.

The subject art print screened on aluminum was part of a limited Genesis Publications run of only 65 prints and has been hand numbered and signed by the photographer, Mick Rock.  This copy is #19/65 in the run and is in excellent condition.  This unframed aluminum print weighs about 5 ounces and measures 11" x 14" (28cm x 35.5cm).  More information is available at:
