RYAN HEMSWORTH - ALONE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Arriving only a year after his Juno-winning debut, Alone For The First Time is Ryan Hemsworth’s most emotionally vulnerable work to date. Shifting away from the 'superstar DJ' bravado, Hemsworth looks inward to craft a soundtrack for transitory isolation—lonely hotel rooms, late-night flights, and the search for human connection in a digital age. It is a 'purple' patchwork of twinkling glockenspiels, 90s trance-rave fragments, and melancholy ambient beats that feel like a cold, starry night in Newark.
