RYAN HEMSWORTH - GUILT TRIPS

On his debut full-length Guilt Trips, Ryan Hemsworth steps beyond the bounds of electronic music to craft a project fleshed from human emotion. Moving past the sample-heavy 'bootleg' style of his early EPs, Hemsworth creates an intimate, 'purple beat' atmosphere that blurs the lines between indie, R&B, and 16-bit video game nostalgia. It’s an album that feels as home in a pair of headphones as it does on a club speaker—a cohesive patchwork of vibrant, ebullient melodies and high-profile collaborations.
