This is an early reissue/repress by ABC Records (catalog AA-1006) from 1977. US Pressing from Terre Haute plant in a laminated glossy gatefold sleeve.
The vaunted Aja album! Particularly well known to audiophiles for its amazing sound, this pressing does not disappoint with clear, fantastic music at low and high volumes. Includes the hits Black Cow, Deacon Blues and Peg. A must-own for any collector or Steely Dan fan and frankly an album all music lovers should be familiar with!
The vinyl on this album is in great shape with no physical issues, just some light marks that don't affect the music. Plays through strong and clear with almost no background noise - strong VG+ disc.
The sleeve on this copy is the issue. The gatefold was stuck together when I got the album and I did my best to get it open without damage but, alas, I lost a little bit of the text across the bottom. See pictures for the extent of the damage. Otherwise the sleeve is in great shape with some back ringwear the most noticeable issue and some edgewear. Because of the interior damage, I am rating this sleeve G+. Original customer inner sleeve with lyrics is present and in great shape; I will ship the disc in an audiophile sleeve.
