THE AFGHAN WHIGS - '89 World Tour Concert Poster

Original tour poster printed in Black/White/Gray on heavy cardstock, measures approximately 18 inches (46 cm) wide by 24 inches (61 cm) tall.

Channel the dark soul, haunting imagery, and visceral alternative rock power of The Afghan Whigs with this striking 18x24 tour poster. Featuring the enigmatic, occult-tinged horned reaper design and pyramids derived from the band's acclaimed In Spades era, the artwork tongue-in-cheek retro-bills their expansive international run as the "'89 World Tour"—listing landmark stops across Europe and North America. Led by Greg Dulli’s indelible fusion of gritty post-punk attitude, cinematic noir, and deep R&B undertones, the Whigs created one of the most distinctive aesthetics in underground rock. Rendered in stark black-and-white printwork, this poster makes an unforgettable, moody statement piece for any longtime fan or collector of Sub Pop and alternative music memorabilia.
