Recorded at Chem19 Studios in Glasgow and produced by the band alongside Peter Katis (known for his work with The National and Interpol), the album is a masterpiece of modern Scottish post-rock and shoegaze. Frontman James Graham delivers his deeply personal, cryptic narratives in an uncompromising, thick Scottish brogue, slicing through Andy MacFarlane’s dense, swelling squalls of distorted guitar feedback and looping accordion textures.
