Five Classical Music LPs for $7.50 plus shipping!  Bach, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Holst, Handel

The subject discs have been hand cleaned.  They have not been play-graded/listened to and no representations are made as to their playback quality.    Please read below and see pictures for descriptions of condition.

a) Bach Harpsichord Concertos No. 3 (in D major) & No. 6 (in F major) - by Maria Van Der Lyck on harpsichord and the Ton-Studio Orchestra, Stuttgart, conducted by Hans Michael.  Originally released in 1965 by Pirouette (JAS 19008), recorded in Europe.  Sleeve would be VG+ except there is a ~10 cm seam split in the middle bottom.  Generic white inner sleeve included.  Disc looks super clean visually, a few light surface marks and hairlines on each side under investigation with direct bright light; nothing looks like it will cause material issues with playback.  Probably a VG or better disc.

b) Dvorak "New World" Symphony - by Rafael Kubelik conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  Originally released 1952.  This version of uncertain date released by Mercury Wing (SRW 18021), in stereo and "electronically re-recorded".   Sleeve is VG+, really in excellent condition with no material issues.  Comes with generic inner sleeve.  Disc has some light surface marks visible to naked eye, several surface marks and light hairlines/scratches visible under direct bright light.  While I wouldn't be surprised to get some surface noise on this one, I don't see any marks that are super concerning and also wouldn't be surprised if it plays VG or better.

c) 1812 Overture / Polovetsian Dances With Choir / Night on Bald Mountain / Russia Easter Overture - by Tchaikovsky / Borodine / Moussorgsky / Rimsky-Korsakov and performed by the Wiener Symphoniker - Chor Der Wiener Staatsoper, conducted by H. Hollreiser.  Originally released 1960 in the US, this particular issue is undated and by Yorkshire Records (STPL 511.690).  The sleeve is in G+ condition with a ~7 cm seam split in the middle of the top seam.  Spine and bottom seam are good, corners are dinged, light surface and ring wear are present and some edgewear, but overall a quality cover in better shape than you might expect after reading that last sentence.  Generic white inner included.  Disc has some light surface marks visible to naked eye, under bright direct light the A side has a fair amount of light surface marks that I'd bet cause some surface noise on playback, and B side is pretty clean though has some light scratches, but I doubt they impact playback.  Probably a G+/VG playing disc, could be better.  I doubt it skips at all.

d) Beethoven: Sonatas ("Pathetique", "Appassionata", "Moonlight") - by Walter Klien, Piano.   This appears to be a first press from 1963, with an orange label variant, by Yorkshire Records (STPL 512.530).  Side A is 27:25 and Side B 30:55 per the labels.  The sleeve is in VG+ condition with strong seams/spine and sharpe corners.  A few dings and moderate surface/ring wear on front.  Back in excellent condition.  Generic white inner sleeve included.  Disc looks very clean to eye but has some visible surface marks.  Under investigation with direct bright light, you see a fair amount of light surface marks on each side and several light hairlines/scratches with a few that are concerning.  I'd bet this disc plays G+ with surface noise and perhaps a few pops, maybe a skip or two -- the scratches aren't that bad but there's one on each side that concerns me, one that covers maybe 1/3 of the A side and another little V shaped scratch toward the beginning of the B side.  It could easily play better but my guess is at least some surface noise and a couple minor issues during playback.

e) Suite No. 1 (in E-flat), Suite No. 2 (in F), Music for the Royal Fireworks and Fantasia (in G) - by Holst, Handel and Bach and performed by The Cleveland Symphonic Winds, conducted by Frederick Fennell.  "Special Edition Audiophile Recording" released by Telarc Digital (5038) in 1978, this appears to be an early US release in stereo that was made in Germany (there are German, Japanese and US releases dated 1978).  The gatefold cover is in excellent condition, easily VG+ and almost like a new album that's a few years old and barely handled.   Comes with original generic audiophile inner sleeve.  The vinyl looks very clean, no blemishes to the naked eye, and there are just a few light surface marks/scratches/hairlines on each side under direct bright light.  The labels are fading a bit.  I'd guess this disc plays VG+ or better, it's very clean.  Despite saying "Audiophile Recording", the vinyl disc only weighs in just over 120g.
