Produced by Austin Brown of Parquet Courts and captured completely on a vintage Tascam 388 8-track tape machine, the Brooklyn art-punk collective delivers a lean, 14-track manifesto. The record interlaces jagged, post-punk guitar stabs and driving rhythm section patterns with dual, deadpan vocal deliveries from Bodega Ben and Nikki Belfiglio. Tackling internet-age alienation, gentrification, and techno-bureaucracy on standout tracks like "How Did This Happen?!", "Name Escape", and "Jack In Titanic", this debut stands as a vital piece of late-2010s New York independent rock history.
