Dan Where Have All The Children Gone? 1987 UK 1st Press in Rare Green Cover
DAN - WHERE HAVE ALL THE CHILDREN GONE?
Rare 1987 UK first pressing Green Cover variant
Recorded over two quick sessions in January 1987, Where Have All The Children Gone? serves as Dan's fierce debut full-length LP, establishing their reputation at the forefront of the late-1980s UK DIY hardcore punk movement. Issued on Newcastle's independent Meantime Records, the record blends hyper-fast rhythms, dual male/female vocal trade-offs, and driving post-punk guitar hooks across sociopolitically charged tracks like "Deliverer," "Cut The Cord," and "Ploppy's Revenge." Released months before their follow-up LP An Attitude Hits, this debut document captures the band at their rawest and most energetic before key members transitioned into Sofa Head.
1987 UK import/release by Meantime Records, catalog # COX 002B. First pressing in rare Green Cover variant.
Sleeve grades G+. Downgraded due to a 1.5" (4 cm) seam burst in mid-top sleeve - mostly visible from the back (and top, obviously), not as visible from the front. If not for that, would be a VG+ sleeve as everything else is pretty much perfect save light corner dings.
Vinyl grades VG+. Play tested great with no issues. Clean vinyl surface with a handful of light marks/hairlines that don't impact playback.
