Leash Aggression is the 2025 studio album by the folk-punk project Pigeon Pit, led by prominent Olympia, Washington based singer-songwriter Lomes Oleander, featuring her signature combination of acoustic guitar, piano and earnest vocals. The lyrics explore themes of community, survival and radical politics and this physical release includes a booklet featuring an artical from the anarchist collective CrimethInc.
This album is the second full-length LP from Pigeon Pit in 2025, letting the songs speak for themselves amid bare-bones instrumentation and showcasing the band's maturity as a live performer. It's their most explicitly political record to date and Oleander's songwriting proposes "love for humanity, rather than fear of certain futures, as a political motivator" and "hope as an invitation to act in the face of bleakness, instead of something made impossible by it."
