Step into the shadowy, hypnotic nocturnal world of Warpaint's foundational bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg with her 2015 solo debut studio album, Right On!. Co-produced by Lindberg alongside veteran engineer Norm Block at Happy Ending Studios in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, the 10-track collection expands beautifully upon her main band's atmospheric DNA. Lindberg steps into the spotlight with a distinct post-punk, new wave, and gothic rock lens, anchoring the arrangements with her signature driving, heavily chorused basslines. Her breathy, ethereal vocal phrasing effortlessly floats over loose, dubby percussion patterns provided by Block and fellow Warpaint groove-pioneer Stella Mozgawa.
