Rare 1986 US MCA Records promo 7" 45 RPM single for Bob Dylan’s explosive, Tom Petty-produced title track "Band of the Hand" backed by the Heartbreakers! Manufactured at MCA's iconic Pinckneyville, Illinois plant (denoted by the stamped "◈-P-◈" symbol in the deadwax), this radio-only release features custom white promotional labels ("Promotional Copy - Not For Sale") holding the Mono edit on Side A and the Stereo mix on Side B. Recorded during Dylan's legendary 1986 Australian tour with Tom Petty and executive produced by Miami Vice mastermind Michael Mann, this clean mid-80s Pinckneyville white-label promo is an essential pickup for Bob Dylan completionists, Tom Petty collectors, and 80s movie soundtrack enthusiasts!
