Autumnfair - Glaciers And Gods
Original first press edition released Feb 1990 by Independent Project Records as part of their ARCHIVE SERIES - Archive Three.  This 10" EP features six tracks:  Collide, So Far From God, Novy Mir, Cascade, She Only Smiles, and Arterial.
The EP was released in a limited edition run of 2,000 copies with 1,500 of them numbered from 501 through 2,000.  This is #553 (53rd numbered copy).  The work on this album began in 1987 with Thom Fuhrmann of Savage Republic recording two songs with partner Scott Feemster for a compilation album.  Thom Fuhrmann later teamed up with Val Haller in 1988 to record a further body of work from which these songs were taken.

Thom Fuhrmann is a member of Savage Republic, initially formed in 1980 and known as Africa Corps and Democratique et Populaire de Sauvage, a LA based post-punk band known for lengthy songs with an emphasis on percussion and droning guitars.  The group split up toward the end of 1983 in the midst of their second album and reformed in 2002 with original member Bruce Licher and mid-1980s members Greg Grunke, Thom Fuhrmann and Ethan Port.  Licher left after a first tour and the remaining members recorded the album 1938, released by Neurot Recordings in 2007.  The band's musical style has been called industrial with AllMusic's Richie Unterberger describing it as music that "grafted tribal percussion, industrial drones, and raga-like guitar lines".  Thom Fuhrmann focuséd on bass, guitars, vocals, trombone and keyboards.

Vall Haller (2/12/52 - 12/16/12) was a British musician that primarily played bass guitar yet was also a vocalist, keyboardist and composer.  He played with Wayne County & The Electric Chairs, The Flying Lizards, The Lords of the New Church, Paint, and Savage Republic as well as being half the duo Autumnfair.

The subject album is in excellent condition.  The sleeve shows minor corner wear and a little creasing on the back upper right corner.  The original inner sleeve is included but the disc will ship in an audiophile sleeve.  The sleeve rates VG+ or better.

The vinyl is very very clean, no visible hairlines or surface marks or other defects; it has probably only been played an handful of times.  It plays very clean throughout and rates a strong VG+ (our highest grade for used vinyl).

This is a true collector piece for music fans anywhere and a rare item for any collection.
