Unbelievably rare and landmark 1975 US Columbia Records white-label promo 7" single featuring the uncensored, full-length 8:33 version of Bob Dylan’s protest masterpiece "Hurricane"! Cataloged with a rare "3-" prefix (3-10245) to denote its unique 33 1/3 RPM speed, this radio-only demonstration disc was specifically pressed to allow the entire eight-and-a-half-minute Desire epic to fit onto a single 7-inch side without splitting it into "Part I" and "Part II" as commercial 45 RPM releases were forced to do. Featuring crisp white demonstration labels with red promotional text ("Demonstration Not For Sale"), this historic mid-70s radio promo is a pinnacle Holy Grail item for serious Bob Dylan completionists, protest music archivists, and oddball format vinyl collectors!

1975 US release by Columbia, catalog #3-10245.  PROMOTIONAL 7" single plays at 33 1/3 RPM as it's the full length version at 8:34 in both Mono and Stereo.  Special radio version with full length version - regular 7" single was broken into two parts across Side A and B.

Vinyl grades VG+ on play testing.  Original picture sleeve stamped "Demonstration - Not For Sale" grades G+ due to seam splits on bottom and right sides.
