THE BLACK BELLES - THE BLACK BELLES

Step into the shadows of Nashville’s gothic underground with the self-titled debut from The Black Belles, the 2011 masterpiece that remains one of the most striking releases from Jack White’s Third Man Records. Clad in their signature wide-brimmed hats and channeling a dark, "garage-goth" aesthetic, the quartet delivers a sharp, cinematic blend of surf-rock reverb and eerie, 60s-inspired girl-group melodies. Produced by Jack White himself, the album is a high-voltage collection of gritty riffs and haunting organ swells, featuring the standout singles "Honky Tonk Horror" and "What Can I Do?". For fans of psychedelic garage rock and the theatrical flair of the Third Man roster, this record is an essential cult classic—a perfectly polished, obsidian-hued gem that sounds just as sharp and menacing on the turntable today as it did over a decade ago.

2011 self-titled US first pressing release by Third Man Records, catalog # TMR122.  Heavier weight 160g black vinyl.

Sleeve grades VG+.  Basically in "like new" condition, maybe actually NM... shrink is still over cover and no material issues to point out.  Includes original custom inner sleeve.

Vinyl grades VG+.  Plays through perfectly with no issues; visually there are some hairlines/insertion marks and light surface marks visible under magnification that don't impact playback.
