THE SMITHS - WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? b/w BACK TO THE OLD HOUSE

Own an elusive, top-tier holy grail for indie rock collectors with the ultra-rare 1984 original Irish 7" vinyl pressing of The Smiths' "What Difference Does It Make?" b/w "Back to the Old House." Pressed in incredibly limited quantities exclusively for the Irish market, this legendary third single from the band features Johnny Marr’s iconic, propulsive guitar hooks seamlessly paired with Morrissey’s melancholic vocal wit. Complete with its gorgeous, stripped-back studio version of the non-album B-side favorite "Back to the Old House," this specific Irish pressing is distinguished by its unique regional label molding and classic typography. Iconic, beautifully preserved, and virtually impossible to find outside of specialized collections, this 45 is an essential investment piece that elevates any elite Smiths or Rough Trade label archive.

1984 Ireland import/release by Rought Trade, catalog # RT 146.  Solid centre, plays at 45 RPM.

No outer sleeve.  Labels pristine except someone wrote their name on A Side label (see pictures).

Vinyl grades VG+/NM.  Plays perfectly with no issues.  I don't see any hairlines, etc. on the grooved vinyl under magnification.

Runouts:
